Novice & Novice Qualifiers-BHDTA Test Novice 2007

Competition 'C' Obstacle Driving
There will be a Hog Roast or similar on the Saturday evening
Sunday 09:30 -

Competition 'B' Marathon, 3 sections, total distance approx.18km with 8 obstacles including water.  The course is almost all grass and farm tracks. It is undulating and the going can be heavy if it’s wet. Your animals need to be fit!

Classes:

1. Pre-Novice Horse/Pony
2. Novice single pony
3. Novice single horse
4. Open single pony
5. Open single horse
6. Open pony pairs
7. Open horse pair
8. Open tandems, unicorns, teams of horses or ponies

Classes may be merged or subdivided at the organiser's descretion, according to the number of entries.

Entry Fee:

£50 payable to MDTL (non-members £70)

Awards:

Rosettes will be awarded as detailed in the Handbook. Each class winner will be awarded a trophy to be presented at the Club’s A.G.M. plus the Geoff Bridgen Memorial Trophy will be presented to the M.D.T.L. member with the lowest marathon score. The competitions for the Bennington Presentation Trophy  and the Paul Tointon Team Trophy will be held at this event.

Overnight accomodation:

Horseboxes, caravans and portable stabling will be welcome in the area allocated as the horsebox park from Friday afternoon.
